Summary
Drives gasoline or diesel powered crew trucks to transport equipment, materials, and employees to job locations and to help assemble, tighten and test the B.O.P. stack and its components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Work on a 24hr on call basis.
-
Drives truck to destination and returns.
-
Helps load and unload cargo (requires heavy lifting up to 100 pounds).

Positions blocks, ropes, straps, cables, and/or chains to secure cargo during transit.

Climbs on and off truck body during loading, unloading and tie down procedures.
-
Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
-
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water. Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports.

When not performing the above mentioned essential duties and responsibilities, may assist in other operations as designated by supervisor.
Education and/or Experience:
-
Complete appropriate licensing requirements (CDL).
-
Complete all safety and operations courses required by the company.

The employee is required to withstand exposure to heat and cold.

The employee is required to stay awake at all hours of the day or night and stay awake and alert for long hours.

The employee is required to swing a 20 lb. sledge hammer.

The employee is required to communicate effectively.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

The employee must regularly push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
