Drives gasoline or diesel powered gin trucks to transport equipment, materials, and employees to job locations and to help lift, position, and assemble, the B.O.P. stack and its components using lifting equipment on the gin truck.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work on a 24hr on call basis.
Drive and operate gin truck.
Helps load and unload cargo (requires heavy lifting up to 100 pounds).
Positions blocks, ropes, straps, cables, and/or chains to secure and lift cargo.
Climbs on and off truck body during loading, unloading and tie down procedures.
Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water. Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports.
When not performing the above mentioned essential duties and responsibilities, may assist in other operations as designated by supervisor.
Ensure proper rigging connections before performing a lift.
Education and/or Experience:
Complete appropriate licensing requirements (CDL)
Complete all safety and operations courses required by the company.

The employee must regularly push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
